  20. The pair appear as Catwoman and the Penguin, twin nemeses of
  21. Michael Keaton's Bruce Wayne in Batman Returns, the summertime
  22. sequel to Tim Burton's 1989 box-office burner that blended
  23. brooding Expressionist visuals with pop-culture pizazz. Burton's
  24. satirical bent is once again in evidence as the Penguin hires
  25. image consultants and runs for mayor of Gotham City--just when
  26. you thought it was safe to go back into the voting booth...
